BoardDock is a board management platform for nonprofits, charities, clubs, associations, foundations, parent councils, faith-based organizations, sports associations, and community groups.

BoardDock helps organizations manage board work, including agendas, board packages, minutes, motions, policies, documents, director onboarding, roles, confidential materials, and basic audit history.

Confidential Board Materials

BoardDock is designed to help organizations keep board work organized. Access to board materials is controlled through user roles and permissions.

Organizations are responsible for deciding what content is appropriate to upload and which users should have access.

BoardDock should not be used as a substitute for legal, accounting, governance, or compliance advice.

Payments

BoardDock subscriptions may be processed through Stripe or another payment provider. Payment processors may collect and process payment details directly.

Payment data may be processed outside Canada. Stripe’s Canadian services terms require disclosure that personal data may be transferred, processed, and stored outside Canada, where it may be subject to disclosure under applicable law.

Email and Notifications

BoardDock may send service-related emails, including account invitations, meeting notifications, document updates, billing notices, password resets, and support messages.

Marketing emails, where used, will follow CASL requirements for consent, identification, and unsubscribe options.

Data Sharing

We may share limited personal information with trusted service providers that help us operate BoardDock, including hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, and technical support providers.

No online service can guarantee complete security. Organizations are responsible for managing user permissions, removing former directors or members, and protecting account credentials.

BoardDock retains account, organization, and board information as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, or maintain business records.

An organization administrator may request closure of an account or deletion of certain information by contacting us.

Access and Correction

Users may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting their organization administrator or Muldoon Web Solutions.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
