About BoardDock

BoardDock helps boards and community organizations keep board work organized in one place.

It may include tools for agendas, board packages, minutes, motions, policies, documents, director onboarding, roles, confidential materials, and basic audit history.

Accounts and Access

BoardDock accounts may be created for organizations, administrators, directors, board members, staff, committee members, or other authorized users.

Organization administrators control access to their BoardDock workspace.

You are responsible for keeping your login information secure.

Organization Administrator Responsibilities

Organization administrators are responsible for:

  • Ensuring they have authority to create and manage the BoardDock workspace
  • Inviting appropriate users
  • Managing user roles and permissions
  • Removing users who should no longer have access
  • Deciding what information is uploaded to BoardDock
  • Ensuring their organization’s use of BoardDock complies with applicable laws, bylaws, policies, and governance requirements

Customer Content

Organizations retain ownership of the content they upload or enter into BoardDock.

By using BoardDock, you allow Muldoon Web Solutions Inc. to host, store, process, display, and transmit customer content as needed to provide the service.

Customer content may include agendas, minutes, motions, policies, board packages, documents, notes, comments, member records, and related information.

Confidential Information

BoardDock may be used to store confidential board materials.

Organizations are responsible for deciding what materials are appropriate to upload and who should have access.

BoardDock provides organizational tools, but it does not guarantee that using the platform satisfies any legal, governance, charitable, regulatory, or funder requirement.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use BoardDock to:

  • Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
  • Share information you do not have permission to share
  • Attempt to access another organization’s workspace
  • Interfere with the security or operation of the service

Subscriptions and Billing

BoardDock may be offered through paid subscriptions.

Subscription pricing, billing frequency, trial periods, and cancellation options will be shown during signup or checkout.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

Free Trials and Cancellation

If a free trial is offered, you may cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.

After a subscription begins, you may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically refund amounts already paid.

Unless otherwise stated, access may continue until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

Refunds are not guaranteed unless required by law or specifically stated in writing.

Refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

No Legal or Governance Advice

BoardDock may include templates, document organization, meeting tools, motion tracking, policy storage, onboarding tools, or other board-support features.

These features are provided for general organizational purposes only.

BoardDock does not provide legal advice, accounting advice, governance advice, charity compliance advice, or regulatory advice.

Organizations are responsible for confirming their own requirements with appropriate professionals, regulators, funders, bylaws, policies, or governing legislation.
